Angel Reese embraces her inner villain as she dons new ‘Joker’ inspired Reebok sneakers against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever

Chicago Sky center Angel Reese appears to be fully embracing her more villainous side in the rivalry between herself and Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark.

Clark and Reese have been on-court rivals since their days in college – which only just recently ended – with Reese seemingly cast as a ‘bad guy’ in the relationship.

But instead of fighting against that, it looks like Reese is embodying it with a new pair of custom Reebok sneakers themed to the comic book villain The Joker.

The mostly purple and white kicks feature a bright green Reebok logo and a red midsole complete with text of the Joker’s laugh all over.

On the toe of the right shoe, the sneakers even have the mouth of the comic book villain with a toothy grin.

This will not be the first time that the Fever and Sky have faced off against each other this season.

Earlier in the year, the Fever were able to pull out a one-point victory in a game that generated controversy when Clark was hip-checked by Chennedy Carter.

The ensuing discourse led to many people – including politicians – trying to find ways to protect Clark on the court.

All eyes will be on Carter and Clark when they meet again, but fans of the league will also be looking forward to the next chapter in the Clark-Reese rivalry.
