A Netherlands fan lost a full pint of beer while posing for television cameras at his team’s Euro 2024 game against Poland on Sunday.
The incident occurred just before kick-off at Hamburg’s Volksparkstadion after the man spotted a camera panning across his path.
He responded by cheering and raising the beer in his right hand.
This beer survived but another fell out of the fan’s left hand after a stray ball from the pitch struck him on the jaw.
Footage of the unfortunate incident was then shared by BBC Sport via social media.
